DareDreamer.fm – The Sound of Creative Expression
We first broke new ground in the world of podcasting for the visual arts community back in 2007 with F-Stop Beyond, one of the first podcasts that focused on the artist as opposed to the gear or tech.
We followed that up with a similar mold-breaking podcast–Crossing the 180: The Filmmaker’s Podcast that Breaks the Rules. Host Ron Dawson had in-depth and personal conversations with filmmakers from every aspect of the industry: from Hollywood pros like Albert Hughes, Shane Hurlbut and X-Men producer Ralph Winter; to DSLR DPs like Philip Bloom and Vincent Laforet; to wedding filmmaking wizards like Patrick Moreau, Kevin Shahinian and Ray Roman.
It’s been over a year and a half since Crossing the 180 ended its run, but we’ve since launched two new shows that will again break the proverbial mold. There are a number of amazing podcasts in our industry where you can hear the host interview fantastic guests. What we have in store is quite different.
- Radio Film School: we like to refer to this as “This American Life for filmmakers”. It’s the first radio documentary series about cinema and filmmaking.
- The Solo Creative Podcast: down to earth and actionable advice to help creative solopreneurs improve their craft and career.
Are you ready for a refreshing burst of auditory inspiration? Story-driven. Narrative. Journalistic. Fun. Funny. Poignant. Provocative.
Unlike anything you’ve heard in our industry.
