Breaking the Glass

A new podcast and short film documentary series from Radio Film School.

Meet the Panelists

We gathered six women from the film and television industry in Hollywood to participate in this project. Six women who just happen to be dear and long-lasting friends. Their camaraderie and friendship result in a no-holds-barred discussion that is poignant and powerful, and sometimes funny!

The participants are:

  • Yolanda T. Cochran: feature film producer and former SVP of Physical Production at Alcon Entertainment.
  • Dayna Lynne North: Co-executive producer/Writer on HBO’s “Insecure”
  • Talicia Raggs: Producer/Writer on CW’s vampire/werewolf drama, “The Originals”
  • Nichelle Protho: VP of Sander/Moses Productions and COO of Slam Digital
  • Christine Haslett: feature film and television animation editor
  • Taneka Johnson: feature film and television actress

Breaking the Glass

Ep. 01: The Elephant in the Room

On the first official episode of the series, host Ron Dawson addresses the issue of whether or not he’s the right person to host the series. What ensues are comic yet poignant interactions with show regulars JD & Yolanda Cochran, and valuable insight from episodes guests Austin Lewis (a 1st AC) and Stefanie Malone (executive director of the National Film Festival for Talented Youth).
